I'm Posy.
I am the mother to Poppy, the little pistol that has said all of these things and took these photos. I started this blog when she was 3 because she started saying such funny things. Then she discovered our camera and some of her shots were quite interesting. Life through the eyes of a child, if you will.
To crack the oh-so-complicated code of who said what, here is a hint: Poppy's words are always in brown (or black on the last few posts).

Your child should be on that show with Cosby called Kids say the Darndest Things. What magnificent quotes. I wonder if she watches a lot of television, or if you read a lot to her. The words and concepts she puts together really are marvellous. I'm not exactly sure what butterflies walking tastes like, but it sounds great. I loved all the quotes, but I had to comment on this one with the blood, because it was such a shocker. Keep publishing the quotes. This kid has a future as a comedy writer!
Poppy gets read to a lot! Every night my husband makes up a story for her or else tells about a dream he had too. The dreams are great because you can get really crazy in dreams and it's ok.
Poppy is sponge for humorous things. Now if we could only get her to absorb math concepts as easily. :)
